Ya, and they always have those overpowered players. The cheap players that everyone uses because that is how they win. Still a fun game imo.

Well for one, Hester has 99 speed and is flat out amazing. But the other ones are the usual players from the past few years.

Right now I've had it with EA to the point I don't even want to get Spore, much less a minor upgraded edition to '08.

If you ask me, they should only have a new edition every few years to give them time to really work on the newer versions. Since all we are really getting is a roster upgrade, maybe they could release that as a free or cheap download.

I would say switching to a new and bad team at the twilight of his career would be worse for him than being on the cover of madden.

This game is frustrating beyond all get-out. I picked it up at midnight, and it just keeps failing. I took the Madden test, and I got full All-Madden on both offensive stats, and about mid Rookie on both defensive stats. What I'm saying is, the offensive tests are way to easy, unless you have some brain damage and don't know what the right-stick is on the controller, you should never really fail. But on defense, it's near impossible, especially when the opponent passer has 2 receivers, and there's only one of you, and he just throws it to the other receiver before you get a chance to switch players. Defending the run is also a bitch because the opponent gets like, 3 blockers.

I'm not an All-Madden player by any means, I can compete vs. All-Pro for the most part in previous games, but I don't stand a chance against All-Madden anything. The stats don't seem to adjust enough after every game, so I'm stuck getting clobbered while I'm on offense and getting an interception every other down on defense.

Also, I've noticed that when you play vs. All-Madden teams, the other team isn't much better, it's just they replace your teammate's brains with pudding.

I just skip the Madden test and play on whatever level I feel comfortable with. But yes it is much harder to score high on defense and offense is ridiculously easy. But that is how it has always been. Offense>>>>Defense in their eyes.
